Yoga, as you know, is beyond the asanas and physical practice. This course will delve deeper into this ancient science and wisdom, and ultimately help us understand our true nature and purpose. For those wishing to pursue a 200-hour teacher training certification through Rishikesh Yog Van (our Teacher Training School), you will be able to apply these training hours toward this certification for courses that are fully completed. The course will follow the curriculum used for the Teacher Training Certification through Yoga Alliance.<br>Our goal at East Meets West Yog is not only to help you improve your physical abilities in asana practice, but also to increase your knowledge along with your practice. In addition to your asana practice, we offer yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, and pranayama to enrich your yoga experience. The training is open to everyone regardless of physical abilities.<br>The curriculum outlined below will be offered in two parts of 18 hours each, a total credit of 36 hours toward a 200-hour Teacher Training Certification.
